Selecting a rubber injection molding machine involves more than clamping tonnage. Platen rigidity, working height, material temperature control and anti-overflow feeding design can all affect flash control, material-temperature stability and day-to-day operating efficiency.
Hydraulic cylinders apply clamping force directly to the platen, creating a short force-transmission path and even load distribution. This design supports flash control and can reduce downstream trimming work.
The low-bed design reduces the machine working height, making material loading and part removal easier for operators without requiring excessive reaching or bending.
Automatic temperature control keeps the rubber material in the charging barrel at a stable temperature before injection. Unlike thermoplastics, rubber compounds must be managed carefully to prevent premature crosslinking or vulcanization inside the material path.
A specialized feeding device and anti-overflow nozzle design help reduce material loss and cleanup work, making per-shot material usage easier to control.

JING DAY positions the JD-RH Series for natural rubber, synthetic rubber, oil-resistant rubber, heat-resistant rubber and reclaimed rubber products. Actual suitability should still be evaluated according to the compound formulation, hardness and vulcanization system.
With direct clamping, hydraulic cylinders apply force directly to the platen, creating a short and straightforward clamping-force transmission path. For rubber molding, platen rigidity and force distribution are important because they can affect flash control and part consistency. Suitability should still be evaluated according to mold layers and product precision requirements.
Clamping force alone is not enough. Product projected area, number of cavities, mold layers, required shot volume and platen size should be evaluated together. The application range can also differ among shot-volume configurations within the same tonnage. Providing a product drawing or mold specification is recommended before final machine selection.
Yes, but the setup does not need to start from zero. The injection system provides three-stage pressure and four-stage speed control for different rubber compounds, while the PLC and HMI can store and recall production parameters for faster changeovers. The actual number of recipes that can be stored depends on the controller specification.
